Ever Wondered Where You Can go for Your Honeymoon in Kenya

The moment she agreed that the time had come for a wedding was the best time in my life. It was great that is until we started planning for the actual wedding. Can you believe that the most difficult thing to do was to figure out where to go for a honeymoon in Kenya?

Yes, that was it. Choosing the most beautiful places in Kenya wasn't going to be that easy. After all Kenya is an extremely beautiful country. But we were looking for

1. A place we knew we would not be coming to on a weekend frolick. - It had to be far enough for us not to make it look like a local pub
2. A place that did not have too many visitors - Why get bogged down with having to pass another 100 people like the Mombasa beaches during Christmas
3. It was not going to be expensive - Of course we want the best but we also do not wish to have our pockets drained for only a week of fun
4. It had to be exceptionally beautiful - We were going to take photos so surely they had to look good.

So it was a choice between, the Masai Mara, Malindi, Lamu or a private conservatory. I hear the Queen of England was the Ark in Nyeri but we decided against it. It would mean we pass through the villages of our inlaws and we would have to stop by. Try avoiding them and you shall live to regret it.

But we decided to end up at the Oki Seki Mara Hemingway Camp.

We have never been happier. It was the best honeymoon in Kenya according to us and we shall never do it again. lol
